The power boats won’t make it to town this year, but the Lock Haven Area Jaycees invite people to celebrate the holiday weekend at a Labor Day Celebration along the Susquehanna River! Traditional regatta food vendors serve up your favorite festival foods, plus live music both days. WSQV/WBPZ Radio kicks it off with a live ‘Rock Down in the Lock Down’ broadcast Saturday 11am-2pm and two bands on the floating stage - Probable Cause from 12:30-3:30pm, & Quarterstick from 4-7pm. WQBR Bear Radio hosts a Mini Bear Bash Sunday 3-9pm with bands Jeff Orin & Family; Ridin’ Shotgun; Bill, Bud & a Girl; & the Clark McLane Band. The traditional Labor Day Weekend fireworks take place Sunday at 9pm on the River. New this year, tune into 92.1 FM WSQV to enjoy special music along with the fireworks.
